KNITTING
The first stage in the production cycle is knitting, a process that transforms yarn into panels of fabric. Panels are made for each part of the garment: in the case of a sweater, this includes the front, back, and sleeves. Following this step, each panel is inspected against a light table. If any errors or anomalies are found, they are promptly corrected before moving on to the next phase of production.
LINKING
During this stage, the panels of fabric previously created are linked together to create the finished garment. This is a is a manual process which requires great experience and skill.
FULLING
After having been assembled, the garment is then fulled/washed, a process during which it is possible to bring out the cashmere’s softness(something only cashmere can offer!). Once the product has dried, it undergoes a second quality control procedure to check for any defects.
FINISHING & IRONING
If the garment passes its inspection, it moves to the final stage of production: finishing and ironing. During this phase, the product is completed (with its labels and tags, buttons and zippers if applicable, etc.), then pressed and steamed. Lastly, it is carefully packed in a protective bag, thus concluding the production cycle.
