CARDED \/ WOOLEN YARN<\/h3>\n

\n Carding is a process which spins the fibers so that they are all oriented in the same\n direction. Woolen yarns are used both in knitting and weaving and are characterized\n by their higher thickness, as well as their soft and “fluffy” feel.\n<\/p>\n

\n Our carded yarns:<\/strong> 100% Cashmere, 70% Merino Extrafine 30% Cashmere\n<\/p>\n

COMBED \/ WORSTED YARN<\/h3>\n

\n Worsted yarns are very smooth, without the classic “fuzziness” of carded yarns.\n To increase their resistance, these yarns are further spun to become even finer,\n both in terms of thickness and style, and are thus ideal for elegant garments.\n<\/p>\n

\n Our combed yarns:<\/strong> 70% Cashmere 30% Silk\n<\/p>\n

YARN COUNT<\/h3>\n

\n Given its flexible nature and its non-circular shape, is not possible to measure\n a single fiber. For this reason, yarn thickness is generally expressed in terms\n of count. Yarn count (measured in Nm) is a ratio of length to weight; specifically,\n the number of kilometers of yarn in one kilogram. For example, a count of\n 2\/28 Nm<\/strong> means that the yarn is composed of 2 strands and that\n it takes 14,000 meters<\/strong> to make 1 kg.\n<\/p>\n
