No two cashmere goats are alike. For this reason, it is possible that a color may vary slightly from one batch of yarn to the next, due to differences in the raw material used. Though this is an exceptional event, it may occur each time a new dye lot is produced.
Example:
Two items in the same color which have been produced some time apart, using yarn from two different dye lots, may be subject to color variances (mélange colors are especially prone to variances).
